Dr Garg and his staff have a warm and great energy. The MG Dental Facility is beautiful. Dr Garg has done an implant and 2 crowns that have corrected my entire smile! It has been approximately a year since my implant and I haven’t had any issues with it. My crowns and implant feel and look natural and perfect. I always look forward to having pleasant and quick future visits. I thank Dr Garg and his staff for their work and wonderful dental experience. I highly recommend MG Dental.

I was referred to MG dental by my wife. Currently, my wife and I have made and continue to make regular visits for our dental needs. I recently had my dental implant procedure completed by Dr. Garg. I was very happy and pleased with the whole process. The dental implant was a big success and a very good fit. Dr. Garg and the staff were excellent. The facility was exceptional; it was clean, stylish, roomy, and not to forget, the most friendly and helpful front desk ever.

Implant questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers from our South Plainfield implant team. Still unsure? Bring the question to your free consultation.

How much do dental implants cost in South Plainfield?

We publish our prices. A single dental implant is $2,399, all inclusive, which covers the implant, the abutment and the crown. Denture stabilization is $3,995 (2 implants and 2 locators), a snap-on denture is $5,997 (2 implants, locators and a custom designed denture), All-on-4 is $14,900 (healing and final PMMA) and All-on-6 is $18,900 per arch (final zirconia arch).

What to know about the numbers

  • Your dental implant consultation and second opinion is free.
  • We accept most PPO insurance plans and work with CareCredit and Lending Club for flexible payment plans. We do not accept Medicaid, HMOs, DMOs or New Jersey Family Care.
  • Some situations call for an extraction, bone grafting or a sinus lift first. Anything beyond the published inclusions is quoted in writing at your visit before treatment begins.
I was quoted $5,000 or more somewhere else. Why get a second opinion?

Because implant fees vary widely between offices, and the quote you were given may bundle items you do not need, or price the same three parts (implant, abutment and crown) very differently. Dr. Garg has placed and restored implants for more than 20 years and holds Diplomate status with the International Dental Implant Association, so the second opinion comes from a dentist who does this work daily.

Bring your existing treatment plan and X-rays. We will review them, examine your mouth, and tell you plainly what we would recommend and what it costs here. There is no charge and no obligation.

Am I a good candidate for dental implants?

Most adults who are missing one or more teeth are candidates. An implant fuses with the jawbone, so the two things that matter most are enough healthy bone to hold it and general health good enough for a minor surgical procedure. Health is a bigger factor than age.

How we find out

At your free consultation we examine your teeth and gums and take the X-rays needed to see bone height and width. If bone has thinned after years without teeth, grafting can rebuild it, and full-arch options such as All-on-4 are often designed to use the bone you already have.

How long does the dental implant process take?

For a single missing tooth, plan on a few months from implant placement to the final crown. The implant needs that time to fuse with your bone before it can carry a tooth.

The steps

  • Free consultation with X-rays to confirm the jawbone can hold the implant.
  • Placement under local anesthetic, a minor procedure done in our South Plainfield office.
  • Healing while the implant integrates with the bone.
  • Abutment and custom crown, matched to your natural teeth.

Dr. Garg places and restores implants in the same office, with an on-staff prosthodontist for the crown, bridge or denture work, so you are not referred out between steps.

Do dental implants hurt?

You are fully numb during placement, and the bone the implant sits in has no nerve endings, so most patients report less discomfort than a tooth extraction. Our patients regularly mention Dr. Garg's gentle approach and pain-free injections in their reviews. If dental anxiety is the real obstacle, tell us at your consultation and we will plan around it.

What is the difference between denture stabilization, a snap-on denture and All-on-4?

Denture stabilization ($3,995) keeps the denture you already have and snaps it onto two implants with locators, so it stops moving and you can chew without adhesive.

A snap-on denture ($5,997) is the same two implants and locators plus a new, custom-designed denture built to fit them from the start.

All-on-4 ($14,900) and All-on-6 ($18,900 per arch) replace the denture with a fixed arch of teeth that does not come out. All-on-4 includes the healing and final PMMA arch; All-on-6 is finished in zirconia.
